Taylor is so cute in those pictures. I was on my mission when she was born washing windows with "Sister Oliver" (now Amy Bogh) at a member's house when my mission president called to tell me I had a new niece. I was SOOOOOO excited and couldn't wait to meet her almost a year later. She is the cutest, most thoughtful little girl. I thought I missed out on so much during that first year that we would never be close, but hopefully I've made up for it. I love Kimberly's kids! Happy Birthday, Taylor!
I read this to Taylor and she said, "oh, that was pretty cute!" I can hardly believe she is 5. I can remember when I was 5, so it makes it weird to think that I now have a 5-year old of my own. She has pranced around in her ballerina skirt that Grandma DowDell made, her birthday crown, wand, and special shirt Devon made for her. She knows this is her special day. Thanks for the shout out--it was so cute!
Those are some really cute pictures. I remember thinking and being really happy that Taylor wouldn't be in kindergarten 'til after I got home from my mission...that way I wouldn't miss out on too much of her growing up. Now she is FIVE and going to kindergarten. Time flies.
I Loved this post! :) Time sure goes by so fast... and children grow and grow. My mom has also said that it is amazing thing to have your own children, and almost more amazing to have grandchildren. There's just something SO special about being a grandparent. :)
Cute granddaughter! I love your blog! Miss you! --Vivian
How fun that our granddaughters share a birthday! Do you ever feel like time is spinning out of control and you just want it to slow down so you can just sit and enyoy it all? I'm dying not to be back with Mandy and baby Sophie- I'm going to go back for the week before graduation and help pack!
Taylor being 5 is a really exciting time and I loved the shout out pictures on your blog. YOU FEEL OLD,HOW DO YOU THINK THAT I FEEL WHEN MY GRANDCHILDREN HAVE CHILDREN THAT NOW GO TO SCHOOL. Tina's "Kami Sue" is being baptized on May 5th and this is her second one to be baptized. WOW!!!
