Back to Parking in the South 40
Which car will it be.....
After sitting behind the wheel of the Nismo 350 Z,
and checking out the new GTR, which is a handbuilt, race prepared/street legal car of which only 2500 will be made for sale in the U.S....
We drove home a new Altima. You'd think we'd at least have gotten a different color so we'd look like we're driving a new car. I think red was our second choice. Oh well.....I'm not complaining. It's new, it smells new, I don't have to dig for my keys because it's keyless, it has a navi so I won't get lost, the seat warmers work great, and, best of all, there are no annoying dings in any of the doors. Therefore, I will be parking in the south 40 for a while. Oh, and just so you know....it has already been to the carwash and rained on the next day.

I can't tell who wrote this blog...mom or dad. The digging for keys sounds more like mom, but all the knowledge about the OTHER cool cars you sat in definitely does NOT. Congrats on your new car...I love the new car smell! Good luck on keeping dings off the doors!
I agree, I think Dad wrote the blog! I do have to say, however, that mom looks great driving a red car. Red is definitely your color, Mom. Next time you should get the coupe, doesn't the altima come in a coupe. Anyway, I am very jealous of the new car smell, navi system, and the keyless thing (how does that work anyway?). Sounds like a really fun new car!
I don't know anything about those other cars, but I'm sure they're cool and Bob would have loved them. Glad you went with the Altima. Looks good on you!
Lucky!! You look great in your new car. What happened to the pathfinder? Has that been gone for a long time and I am just not very observant? Probably.
Congratulations! We have moved on from just wanting a new car, to needing one. It is going to have to wait a few more months.
Diane! It is great to hear from you. And it's fun to look at your blog. I am still trying to convince my mom that she needs to start one. She says she doesn't have time for it, but how can you not have time to blog? It is so fun! I will have her look at yours and she'll be convinced... Oh and very cool car!! :)
Yeah, I was confused about who wrote that, too. I'm guessing mom did with a little help from dad. I saw a nice Nissan Versa in the background of the 350 Z. It sure looked shiny in all those lights.
ok you guys...I wrote my own blog (with a little help from Dad). I guess it's no secret how little I know about cars.
Woo hoo!!! Schmancy fancy car! I love it! Sister Johnson, you look great in your new car!!!
You so should have gotten the sporty car, I would have loved to see you in it. I love new cars also I wish we could bottle the smell, I think we could make millions if we could.
Okay so now you have a new car again. I would just love to have the smell of the new car. If I had a new car I probably wouldn't drive it anywhere because of the dings on the doors. I am really happy for you and I think I need to come down just to ride in the BRAND NEW CAR. SURE DO LOVE YOU!!!!
Lucky you! I am stuck driving a very large beasty BURB but one day I look forward to a peppy little red number....I get speeding tickets no matter what I drive, even a mini van....heheheh
My little red Sentra was my favorite car of all the ones I owned. One day I WILL BE BAAACK.
I thought I better add my comments to Diane's blog regarding the new car. One benefit of working for a car company is the option of leasing a new car every year. Diane gets the car with Navi that she lets me drive occasionally and I drive the Pathfinder that Michael loves. Michael recently asked me if he could trade his car for the Pathfinder. The best thing is Diane looks good in the red car.
Bob
Kathi and I have been parking in the NORTH 40 since we bought our first Altima (in Utah, you can't park in the South 40 because that's where they built the Wal-Mart).
