Here he is about to cross the finish line. Good thing I had the camera ready, or I would have missed him. Would it have been wrong of me to ask him to stop and pose for a picture?

Way to go Joe!
I've never seen anyone so relaxed about running a marathon. This past weekend was the Music City Marathon here in Nashville, and Joe ran in it!

Since he had very little time to train, he decided to run the half marathon. I don't know about you, but a half marathon sounds like a huge accomplishment!

Yay Joe! He's so funny...he wanted to take his bib off when we went to McDonald's afterwards since he'd only run the HALF marathon. Nothing to brag about...
Does that boy ever stop running? Seems like he's done about a million of these now. Might have to call him Forest. Forest Gump.
Congrats, Joe!
Running a marathon (or running at all for that matter) seems like the impossible! I am sure you are having a great time with Robyn and her kids!
What an accomplishment!! You must be very proud of him. Nate has been doing triathalons for a little over a year now and I am so proud of what he does. Of course I never seem to get excited enough to actually try something like that myself, but I am really good on the sidelines.
I am sure you are having a great visit with your kids, enjoy!!
WOW!! That is so awesome!! I don't think that I've ever RAN a 1/2 mile, let alone a 1/2 marathon!! LOL!! It is something that I would like to be better at!! What a fun guy!!
Way to go Joe!! :)
That is so cool! Wish I was there! You guys need to stop having so much fun without me!
I wanted to come to the "Music City Marathon" for the "Music" part, nothing more... You will never catch me running a marathon. I think I would get bored.
That is awesome. I wish I had the desire. 5K is all I have done and that was hard for me...sad thing to admit I know. Way to GOOOO JOOOOOE!
That's a really good time. Good job Joe!
I loved the pictures and wish I was there with you. I would love the excitement I really loved running when I was young and now it is fun to share in the excitement. Congratulations to you Joe!!
How fun- I'm just worried cause I don't see pictures of the grandbabies- they did bring them for you to kiss and cuddle, didn't they? Thanks for the willingness to help with the wedding- just come out to Utah and celebrate with us!
Wow Joe! Way to go! I can't for the life of me see how anyone would love to do that! My hats of to you! Love ya lots
