How many of ya'll can say you've had stake conference at the Embassy Suites Hotel? I guess that 's what you have to do when you can't fit in your building anymore. Tough break, I know. I was just wondering if the buffet breakfast is included!

That's awesome that you have so many members...or your church building is too small? Continental breakfast should be served, I think anyway!
What???!!!! That is totally unfair, I think they need to do that everywhere. More people would go, plus all the advertising for the church.

Does that mean everyone got comfy chairs to sit in? I can't imagine they hauled the standard meetinghouse-brown ones to the hotel.
Those "benches" definitely look more comfy than the standard issue, let me know if you get the buffet with it!
That's so funny. It would be hard not to fall asleep in the comfy chairs, though!

I could go with that. Our stake has two sessions of stake conference & each session looks like a normal sacrament meeting. Not to many people show up. I miss Placentia, CA style of stake conference. Miss you and Bishop "Bob"
Seriously? I didn't know you met at the Embassy Suites. Remember the days I worked there and we could stay wherever we wanted for $39 bucks. Those were the days.
I can't believe we were in the same state at the same time! I love the idea of Stake Conference at a hotel- it'll be perfect if you could have brunch WHILE listening!
This would be so AWESOME and if they served breakfast! I love their breakfast!
