Nashville to Colorado...Colorado to Salt Lake City. What's up with the snow? It's April right? We landed in a snowstorm! Note to self....listen to your son when he says you should bring your winter coat. Since you did not listen this time, you'll just have to think warm thoughts while you are standing in the freezing cold snow.
Next stop Robyn's house. From this point, the weekend is a blur! We just hit the ground running...literally! So if any of our family is wondering what exactly it is that we do to keep us so busy while we're in Utah, here's a brief synopsis...

- Visit and laugh with family.
- Get things together.
- Crash in bed.
- Awake at the crack of dawn to have my A.I.S. to get to the airport in plenty of time.
- Take off.
- Arrive home.
- Unpack.
- Crash in bed!
Salt Lake City to Chicago.....Chicago to Nashville. What's up with the cold weather. Doesn't anyone know it's April for crying out loud?!
Goal achieved...met future daughter in law in a loud restaurant with popcorn between my teeth, baby banana fingers on my sweater, sticky kisses on my cheeks, straight hair from the wet snow, bags under my eyes from having to get up at O-dark thirty and have my A.I.S. early enough to be at the airport before on time, and smeared mascara from happy tears shed. She, on the other hand, was absolutely gorgeous! I think she liked us anyway! All in all, a perfect weekend! Not "picture perfect",but perfect just the same!

Ha ha...sorry I didn't get out of bed to make sure you had your A.I.S. on time to get to the airport Monday morning. Parker's still wondering why Grandpa didn't take him to buy a horse. Where does he come up with this stuff? Thanks for the fun-filled weekend. It's always sad when it's over. Love you!
Sounds like so much fun! Minus the snow in April. Visits from Grandma and Grandpa are always the best! Happy Birthday by the way.
Where did the horse thing come from? What a funny child. I'm glad we were finally able to meet up at Red Robin, despite my work schedule.
Sounds like a busy but fun weekend. How exciting to meet your future daughter-in-law.
Poor Anne, she has no idea what she's getting herself into...ha ha! It really was a fun weekend and always sad to say goodbye. Glad you made it home safe!
Seriously, this was so much fun to read! I smiled all the way through. You definitely had a BUSY weekend, but I'm glad it was a fun one.
BTW, I went to South Jordan Walmart today to pick up some photos, and this nice (very familiar looking lady) was helping me. I kept thinking 'I've seen her somewhere'. When I looked at her name tag, which read Patti, it hit me! I asked if she was Robyn Gadd's Aunt. You can imagine, that her eyes got kind of big, when she said 'yes.......'. Then I told her how I know Robyn and you. And that the only reason why I recognized her was, because I'm a blog stalker and her picture has popped up now and then on Robyn and your blogs. Small world! :)
That sounds like a fabulous weekend. And how could she not love you - sticky cheeks and all? Happy belated birthday!
I DO LOVE YOUR DRIVE-BY'S OR SHOULD I SAY FLY - BY'S. I really hope that your B-day was fun - let down and all. I love your A.I.S.on time. If you can't be on time for something be EARLY. As for the horse, I think that Parker should be taken out to Paul's and see the horses and maybe even ride one. We must let him know that he comes by this very naturally. Sure do love you!
I'm tired just from reading. We always love when grandma and grandpa come and try to run them ragged as well.
One of these days we'll have to have a family reunion or something so we can see everyone.
Kel
What...you did't call me for a lazy luch on one of those days?? Whew I need a nap after reading that schedule but sounds like a really good time!
How could she not love you guys? At least when she did she saw the real you sticky shirt and bags under your eyes isn't that the norm?!! That's what grandma's live for:)
Happy birthday!!!
Dine, So glad you came. I'm so happy we have such a crazy sister. Loved your blog. My second week of work I met Annakaisa, I was so surprised that anyone would recognize me because I am usually the one taking the pictures. I am not usually in them. I had to send her over to the eletronic dept. to pay because I was not allowed to touch the register. What a beautiful friend. It has been fun working there.
