Wicked!

The reason for our little detour to Chicago... Wicked! And wicked it was! I even got butterflies in my stomach before the show began.

When I was a little girl, The Wizard of Oz would come on television once a year on Sunday. I would beg my mom to let me stay home from church so I wouldn't miss it. It has always been my all time favorite movie. What little girl hasn't dreamed of having those ruby red slippers?

I have found myself singing..."La la la la...We're gonna make you populer...(lar)...just like me!"

Can I go again? Please?

I am soooo jealous! I have wanted to see that show for a long time! I am lucky though - can't complain I have seen Les Mis 4 times - 2 in New York, I have seen Cats, Phantom, Miss Saigon, I've seen a couple of others that I can't think of right now. I saw all those when I was a teenager though and now I want to start seeing them again with my daughter. There's just nothing like it! Someday I'm gonna see it!

Looks like you guys are having a fun summer!
Love ya,
Beck

Oh man! It makes me get butterflies just thinking about it! Next time you go I am coming for sure!!! Thinking of you guys traveling, without me, makes me feel homesick. Why is that? Anyway, I'm glad you had a good time. Promise me you won't do anymore fun trips until I can come...promise? Love ya!

I really wanted to be with you and see that show even though I hadn't heard of it before. I did see Le Mis in New York on stage. You and Bob are making the most of your summer and making us all jealous. Love you anyway and I would love to see the Grand Old Opery. How was Nauvoo? I am really happy for you and all of your travels. I just remember that it's the spoons on the right wall for travel - right. That's what it is.

Hi Diane. You probably thought that I had fallen off the face of the earth. I haven't. I am so glad that you finally got to go see wicked. I saw it in L.A. before we left and I loved it. My sister has seen it both in L.A. and New York. I heard that it is supposed to be coming to Salt Lake in a year or so and I can't wait to see it again. Miss ya tons!

Sure, you can see it again...as long as you let me come along! I'm very jealous of the entire Chicago experience. Next time let's go to Blue Man Group and Wicked and Jersey Boys. Just let me know when, I'll be there.

Hi My Diannie,

You look cute as a bug. Did you forget you're supposed to get old and fat like the rest of us? I saw you comment about a blog and decided it would be easier just to comment on yours. You may not know, but I'm technology disabled!! You'd think with my hubby as incredible on computers as he is I'd do better, but no mas.

I miss you and Bob so much and hope you are happy there in Tennessee!!

I'm hanging in there and thank goodness I have such wonderful girls and grandkids to keep me keeping on. I'll add you to my favorites, so I can keep in touch with you. I'm just so grateful to still have you all in my life. Don't know what I would do without your Mom to call once in a while. I love you and am so glad you are enjoying life, Bob and your kids and grandkids.

What fun to see Wicked. I remember when we could only see the wizard of Oz at the time the network showed it and there was no give. We have it so easy these days. We can check any movie any time. I always wanted to be like Dorthy and have those beautiful red slippers. I would love to see anthing on stage.

Your fun trips really do agree with you and Bob and it keeps you forever young!! I wonder if you are ever home. I know that you are enjoying life and this really makes me happy. Living in California did wonders for you and your family. Now you are going to work on the East-Southern coast and get them all up to date on how the West coast lives.I know this is my 2nd comment but I love the pictures and reading about life as it should be.

Dine, What a great trip!! I think we should do that sometime together!! I wanted to make sure to update my blog so I really am back. I think this is fun. I am on the road so much it seems to be a bit of a problem finding a computer. I am doing it though!! Well Pen is outside working putting down black paper. She is getting all sweaty so I guess I will join her! Love ya Pat
